image

The Earth Imagers are the stars of our "FS - Future Serie". They can represent graphical measuring results without using any additional computer. The large number of optional accessories makes them our most individually adaptable devices. Every customer can purchase only that what he needs for his purposes.

The Metal Detector

A metal detector helps you to locate objects which are buried under the ground. It is used to find targets under the surface of the ground without the need to dig. A metal detector can locate all type of metals like gold, silver, copper, aluminium, iron targets and other valuable targets. The indication of a detected object can be via acoustical signal, a digital display, an analog display, a signal lamp or an image or curve. The metal detector eXp 5000 is a measuring instrument

A measuring instrument measures the anomalies of the underground. So it is possible to locate buried objects, underground voids, water deposits or foundations which are located under the ground. It is a measuring instrument of newest technology and has been developed in particular for professional use. Through the supplied video eyeglasses buried objects like boxes, pipes, metals but also cavities and grave chambers under the surface becomes visible immediately. Furthermore the video eyeglasses are optimised for the search during the night and also protects against perturbing sunlight at day.

The video eyewear of the metal detector eXp 5000 makes underground treasures visible.

Compact equipment and easy handling

The Earth Imager are high technology metal detectors with graphical representation of the searched underground. The Earth Imager eXp 5000 includes an easily removable control unit which makes it easier to use in different areas. With its compact equipment the device is also easy to handle in terrains which are difficult to access.

Fast processing of measured data

The device allows measurements in brilliant resolutions. All recorded data is processed immediately through the integrated pc-module and becomes visible through the video eyeglasses. The size of any measurement is almost indefinite and only limited by the storage capacity of 256 MB. All collected measured data can be transferred afterwards to a laptop or personal computer to analyse the results professionally with the help of the software program Visualizer 3D. Besides the measuring values additional information like

  •   The date and time,
  •   The used antenna,
  •   the data of the GPS - Global Positioning System

GPS is a satellite based navigation system consisting of 24 satellites which permanently transmit the position and time. By calculating the travel time of the signals GPS receiver determine the position and velocity. In combination with a metal detector the position of the current search field can be stored to be used for navigation at a later time. GPS coordinates (if GPS has been activated) and the current measurement settings will be stored in every graphical representation automatically. Date and time settings can be adapted individually to the actual time zone.

Individual operating modes

The geophysical instrument and metal detector eXp 5000 supports different operating modes which can be used for specific underground investigations. According to your personal requirements one of the following operating modes comes into operation:

Magnetometer

A magnetometer is a scientific instrument used to measure the strength and/or direction of the magnetic field and their disturbances. So it is possible to locate buried targets. Magnetometers are used in geophysical surveys to find deposits of iron because they can measure the magnetic field variations caused by the deposits. Magnetometers are also used to detect archaeological sites, shipwrecks and other buried or submerged objects. Magnetic anomaly detectors detect submarines for military purposes. The Magnetometer mode of FS Future Series devices mostly is used to locate ferrous objects which are located near to the surface of the ground. This function is very useful to eliminate small trash from the surface and in fact prepare the scan area for a professional measurement in the Ground Scan mode.

Ground Scan

Ground Scan is the operating mode where the searcher is able to receive a 3d image of the underground by scanning an area. The searcher has to walk over the ground with an antenna to scan an area. So it is possible to visualize the underground and its anomalies. In the mode Ground Scan it is also possible to measure the position, depth and size of underground objects or voids. Ground Scan (create colored representations of the underground in 3D )

Discrimination

Discrimination is the capability to distinguish between different types of metals such as gold, silver, iron, aluminium and others. By the help of a metal detector with metal discrimination you will be able to determine the exact type of material located under the ground.

Discrimination (Metal Discrimination)

Metal discrimination is the possibility to find out the type of metal which is buried under the ground. There is a regulator on the antenna or device, which can be adjusted on a specific type of metal like gold, silver, iron or aluminium. The metal detector filters out all materials which you don't like to detect. This feature prevents the treasure hunter who is only searching for precious metals from useless digging. Some antennas can discriminate between ferrous and non-ferrous metals and other antennas can tell you the exact type of metal. (metal discrimination : precious metals / base metals )

Accessories

Due to the many optional accessories the earth imager eXp 5000 can be adapted to your personal searching needs. An individual package can optimize your personal work. Here you can find a short description of all the accessories which are available for the gold detector eXp 5000.

GPR antennas (25cm, 50cm, 75cm, 100cm)

Thesehorizontal gpr antennas can be used for measurement in different areas to locate metals, voids, water or underwater. They are used in the Ground Scan mode to receive a 3d image of the underground. They are available in different sizes which will optimize the scanning method.

The gpr antenna 25cm is specially interesting for searchers who have to scan areas with difficult access. This smallest antenna is used for detailed research, to detect small objects. The scanning process is longer because of the small sized antenna and so the small area it covers, but very suitable to search in uneven terrain.

gpr antenna 50cm is a compact antenna suitable for most measurement procedures. This antenna is included in the basic package of eXp 5000. The larger gpr antennas of 75 and 100 cm are used to scan large areas, to get a fast overview about the complete terrain.

Radar antennas for ground measurement with eXp 5000

DDV system (antenna for metal discrimination)

The DDV system is a visual detector system to discriminate between different type of metals. So it is possible to find out if there is iron, gold, silver or aluminium under the ground. You can adjust the metal detector to certain materials to filter out other metals which you don't like to detect. Than the detector will only react on the selected metal. For example it can be adjusted on silver to filter out all other materials like iron or gold.
This metal detector is important to avoid digging for non-precious metals or other material which you are not looking for. The metal detector find the targets and give the information via a audible sound over the headphones and also visually via the video goggles.

Antenna for tunnel detection

This antenna is a high resolution sensor which is specially optimized on the research and detection of hidden voids like tunnels, rooms, chests, tombs, graves and others. You can receive a 3d underground image with this antenna, where voids are represented in particularly and with high resolution. Metals will also be visible in the scan image, but are not the main focus of this sensor.

The antenna for tunnel detection is a 50cm vertical probe which can be carried in the hand. So it is very practicable in various terrains also in uneven grounds.

The antenna for tunnel detection is a must for all seekers who wants to look for cavities, bunkers, tunnel systems, tombs and graves, treasure chambers, chests, boxes or non-metallic targets like vases or hollow-ware.

Antenna for tunnel and cavity detection for tombs, graves, treasure chambers

Super sensor

The Super sensor can be used for high resolution ground scans (3d images) and for discriminating between ferrous (e.g. iron, steel) and nonferrous metals (e.g. gold, silver) in high depth. The Super sensor is a multi task sensor which can be used in the operating modes Magnetometer, Ground Scan and Discrimination.

This one meter vertical probe is specialized on detecting precious metals and can locate small sized metals deeper than the gpr antennas. Also it can discriminate between precious metals(e.g. gold, silver) and ferrous metals (iron) deeper than the DDV system, to avoid useless diggings in high depth. Because of the integrated sensor technology it offers good results even in hard, salty or mineralized soils. This one meter vertical probe can be hold in your hand easily and so is easily usable in areas with difficult access (bushes, trees, rocks) or uneven ground (stones).

The Super sensor is an absolute must for all professional treasure seekers and gold prospectors.

Super sensor for high resolution scans and discrimination of precious metals and ferrous metals

Livestream sensor

The livestream sensor allows the searcher to see live into the ground. What's hidden for the human eye becomes visible with the livestream sensor. All buried objects, voids and underground anomalies are visible in real time via the video goggles while walking over the ground. You can walk in any direction you like, there is not fixed way to scan the underground.

The livestream sensor is the easy and fast way to find every treasure.

Find your treasure with the LIVE IMAGE feature of the gold detector eXp 5000!

livestream antenna for live image of the underground

Thermoscan

The Thermoscan is a long range device which recognize differences of temperatures on the surface of the ground. Due to this infra-red measurement it is possible to locate voids like tunnels, treasure chambers, bunkers or caves under the ground.

Combined with the metal detector eXp 5000 the Thermoscan can make a 3d image of a special place, without the need to walk over this specific area. So it is possible to scan walls, rock faces or other terrains to which you do not have any access.

Thermoscan for infrared measurements to find voids

VLF emitter system (4 pieces)

(not available any more)

The VLF emitters can be placed on each corner of your scan area to improve the measured results and increase the depth. So it is possible to locate small metals deeper under the ground than without these emitters.

Additionally this system improves your scan result. All located metals under the ground will be visible more clearly in the three-dimensional graphic.

Field test result eXp 5000 scanned above tunnel

3d graphic of the tunnel in Visualizer 3d software - blue color indicates the void

In this field test the eXp 5000 has been tested regarding the detection capability of voids. The place of measurement was a known historical tunnel system in the center of a city situated at about 6 meters below concrete soil.

The tunnel had a diameter of 1 meter. The picture shows that the tunnel was visible on the side so the exact position and depth of the void was known and could be controlled. The tunnel was build decades ago, and is the overfall of a small lake so water flows through it.

The measurement should show in which way difficult soil conditions (tar, pavement, concrete, rocks, ...) can influence the measurement.

The tests has been made by a independent technical expert specialized on sensor technology and geophysical measuring instruments.
